WWE news items regarding John Cena, Kairi Sane, and Chelsea Green

Here are a few WWE news items for December 23rd 2022 via the Wrestling Observer Newsletter and Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline.com…

* As previously noted, John Cena will reportedly be unavailable to WWE for most of February and March due to a movie he’s filming outside of the United States. Meltzer wrote that “the belief is that Cena will be working Wrestlemania but what we were told is that he’s working on his schedule to make sure it works, but the belief is that he’ll get it done.”

* There has been internet speculation about Kairi Sane being a “forbidden door” entrant in the 2023 women’s Royal Rumble match. However, Meltzer wrote that “what we do know is that as of this past weekend there has been no contact from WWE to Stardom (Kairi is under contract to them now as IWGP women’s champion) asking for her.” It’s believed that WWE could still approach Stardom as the event draws closer.

* Chelsea Green has shut down her OnlyFans account which has fueled rumors of a WWE return because of the company not allowing talent to use third-party websites. Since NXT talent have more leniency when it comes to the third-party policy, this indicates that Green will be starting back on the main roster.
