Here are a few WWE news items for Monday, January 24th 2022…
* The following names are being advertised by WWE so far for the Elimination Chamber premium live event on February 19th in Saudi Arabia: Roman Reigns, Becky Lynch, Charlotte, Mansoor, Seth Rollin, and Bobby Lashley.
* As previously noted, there is talk that Ronda Rousey will be returning to WWE at the 2022 Royal Rumble PLE. It appears that WWE has plans for Rousey at Wrestlemania 38 with Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline.com noting the following…
“It certainly wasn’t denied to me, and some notes about Mania were confirmed, but also confirmed plans are on the table for her return.”
* On January 19th, new trademark filings were made by WWE for the terms ‘Superbrawl’ and ‘Uncensored’ which were WCW PPV names. WWE has been using WCW PPV names such as Great American Bash and Halloween Havoc for NXT specials.
