WWE announces that Ivar will be out of action “indefinitely” due to an injury

As seen during the May 14th 2024 edition of WWE NXT, Gallus attacked Ivar and Wes Lee in the show’s closing moments. On Thursday afternoon, WWE announced that Ivar “suffered an injury and will be out of action indefinitely.” Due to the situation, Apollo Crews will now replace Ivar against Tyler Bate in an upcoming WWE Speed match.

Erik, Ivar’s tag team partner, has been out of action since September of 2023 after undergoing neck fusion surgery. Erik’s wife Sarah Rowe (Valhalla) recently announced that she is pregnant with the couple’s second child.
