Willow Nightingale makes her return from injury during the July 8th 2026 edition of Dynamite

Willow Nightingale earned an AEW Women’s World Championship match on the July 8th 2026 “Beach Break” edition of AEW Dynamite. Returning from a shoulder injury, Nightingale entered the Casino Gauntlet match at number eight and secured the victory by pinning Julia Hart. As a result, she will challenge AEW Women’s World Champion Thekla at the AEW Redemption PPV in Montreal, Canada.

After the match, Thekla attacked Nightingale before Mercedes MonE ran to the ring and took out both women. Mone, who is scheduled to challenge for the AEW Women’s World Championship at All In, was also joined by Divine Dominion, who attacked Thekla’s Sisters of Sin on the entrance ramp.

Wednesday marked Nightingale’s first match since May 16th when she suffered a shoulder injury during a TBS Championship defense against Red Velvet. The injury forced her to relinquish the title and withdraw from the Owen Hart Foundation Tournament.
