Will Ospreay confirms that he will be having neck surgery after AEW Forbidden Door 2025

During an interview with Screen Off Script, Will Ospreay confirmed that he will be having neck surgery after AEW Forbidden Door 2025…

“I’ve got a few herniated discs in my neck, and they’ve been pushing on my spinal cord. It’s really doing a number on my arm, but I am fully confident and fully comfortable going into the ring. My medics are as well, and so is my surgeon. It will be navigated, and I’ll be looked after. I will have to undergo surgery after Forbidden Door. We don’t have an exact date yet and we don’t know the time frame, but there will be one. As nerve-wracking as it is, everybody is comfortable with me going into this match.”

Ospreay also commented on his dream match if he can return in time for All In 2026 at Wembley Stadium…

“Honestly, if it was down to me and I had the magic potion to make everything happen, and I’m healthy enough to do it—because right now we have no idea what’s on the other side of this, there is no timeline—then my dream is me versus Kenny Omega in the main event.”
