A commercial for the 2021 WWE Summerslam PPV aired during the May 28th 2021 edition of Friday Night Smackdown. The song “Up” by rapper Cardi B was played during the commercial.

According to Andrew Zarian of the Mat Men Podcast, there are plans for Cardi B to be the host of this year’s Summerslam event.

She had a tweet she put out not long ago which was in reference to her name on the show.
