Where things reportedly stand between Drew McIntyre and LA Knight following the 2025 WWE Royal Rumble

It was previously reported that at the 2025 WWE Royal Rumble PLE, Drew McIntyre was allegedly “screaming and cursing” that “someone had to get their moves in” at the expense of a number of stories in the match. McIntyre was said to have “stormed out” of the building.

In his debut with the Smackdown brand on February 7th, McIntyre defeated LA Knight and Jimmy Uso. In a promo prior to the match, Knight made a reference to the Rumble incident by saying “I forgot to get my stuff in” and then used his signature “tell them whose game this is” line.

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful.com noted the following about where things stand between McIntyre and Knight…

“We’re told LA Knight and Drew McIntyre were fine working together on Smackdown, and there were no concerns otherwise from WWE after the bit of heat in the Royal Rumble. Things were said to be a little rough in the ring at times, but it helped to add to the match. Drew was said to have no problem with the promo.”
