This week, the U.S. State Department updated its existing Level 3 travel advisory for Saudi Arabia, which advises Americans to reconsider travel to the country. The advisory cites the risk of Iranian drone and missile attacks targeting American interests, along with armed conflict and terrorism.

The Yemen border region remains under a Level 4 “Do Not Travel” advisory due to the threat of terrorism and attacks from armed groups. The rest of Saudi Arabia remains under the broader Level 3 “Reconsider Travel” advisory.

According to WrestleVotes Radio, a source stated that while a decision of that magnitude is “well above their pay grade,” the situation is a topic of discussion within WWE. The source confirmed that November 7th is expected to remain the date for Crown Jewel, regardless of the location, as WWE is committed to ESPN for that date.

The main question is whether WWE will be able to send its talent and personnel to Saudi Arabia on November 7th given the current travel advisory. It was noted that if WWE is unable to hold the event as scheduled, the Saudi Arabia date could simply be added to the end of the contract. While the change would delay the reported $55–60 million payment, it would not necessarily result in WWE losing that money.
