What’s being said about Liv Morgan’s injury and plans for the WWE women’s tag team titles

During the May 15th 2023 edition of WWE RAW, it was announced that Liv Morgan had been injured on Smackdown and the scheduled WWE women’s tag team titles match was being postponed. Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler later appeared and attacked Raquel Rodriguez.

Liv is not expected to be out of action for a long period of time with Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline.com noting the following during Wrestling Observer Radio

“I don’t know what the injury is, and they didn’t say, but the way everything was played up, you know it’s not like if she was going to be out for a long time with this injury, she’d say she was out, and then they would take steps of stripping them of the belts. You know, it felt like it was something where, you know she’s going to be back very soon.”

“They went on to do an angle with Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler and Raquel to obviously build up a tag title match, so you know, I mean I think it’s a short term thing with Liv. That’s certainly the impression that you would get.” (quotes courtesy of RingsideNews.com)
