What WWE is reportedly doing to give the product “stronger realism” moving forward
Following the news that WWE RAW will be moving to Netflix in January 2025, a staff meeting was reportedly held in Stamford, CT at WWE’s headquarters. According to Twitter account @WrestleVotes, The Rock made a surprise appearance during the meeting.
According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com, there was talk at RAW and at WWE’s HQ that the company will be incorporating some sports-centric elements into the television programming moving forward. Johnson noted how the process has already started…
“Cody Rhodes being interviewed on RAW ‘earlier today’ complete with the clock listing the time was an example given of trying to root the product in stronger realism. We are told that interviews will reflect this as well.”
I’m told The Rock made a surprise appearance this afternoon at the All Staff meeting held in Stamford, CT at WWE HQ to help celebrate a massive day for the company.
