What WWE is reportedly considering for Roman Reigns’ new moniker ahead of SummerSlam 2025
It was previously reported that former WWE champion Roman Reigns has landed the role of Akuma for the upcoming Street Fighter film. Despite this, Reigns is expected to be return to WWE for the 2025 SummerSlam PLE.
In an update on Reigns, Twitter/X account @WrestleVotes noted the following…
“With his return drawing closer, we’re told the moniker ‘OTC1’ — or ‘Tribal Chief One’ — is the leading idea for how Roman Reigns will be presented upon his return to TV. Sources continue to indicate Reigns is slated for SummerSlam at MetLife Stadium.”
Reigns return was teased during the July 7th 2025 edition of RAW when Paul Heyman said Reigns “doesn’t have the balls” to step up to Seth Rollins’ group.
