What was reportedly planned for the New Day angle prior to Odyssey Jones being pulled from WWE television

As seen during the December 2nd 2024 edition of WWE RAW, Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods turned against Big E. According to Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline.com, the New Day heel turn angle had been planned for months.

In regards to Odyssey Jones being part of the storyline until he was suddenly pulled from WWE television, Meltzer noted the following…

“When Odyssey Jones came in, they were going to tease issues with them not getting along but it would end up with Kingston & Woods going heel by choosing Jones and having him publicly replace E. But then Jones got fired and the whole thing was put on hold.”
