What led to Charlotte Flair being moved to Smackdown and more WWE Draft news
Here are some news items from night one of the 2021 WWE Draft which took place on the October 1st 2021 edition of Smackdown…
* According to Raj Giri of WrestlingInc.com, RAW women’s champion Charlotte Flair being moved to Smackdown was a request from the FOX Network. Giri noted that he is “working on finding out which draft picks were demanded by the networks, but I can confirm that FOX specifically asked for Charlotte Flair.”
* Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com wrote that “the talents who were announced as shifting brands tonight were told shortly before the announcements were made, so there were no surprises in terms of talents not being unaware by the time the show went on the air.”
