What is reportedly planned for the AEW world title match at All Out 2022 PPV
As seen during the August 24th 2022 edition of AEW Dynamite, Jon Moxley defeated CM Punk to become the unified AEW world champion in a short match. On commentary, the idea was played up that CM Punk came back too soon from his foot injury.
According to Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline.com, a Moxley vs. CM Punk rematch for the title is scheduled to be the main event for the 2022 All Out PPV. Meltzer noted the following during Wrestling Observer Radio…
“It is Punk and Moxley, I don’t know if they’ll add stipulations, but that is the main event. It should be announced and they should get a promo from Punk out as soon as possible.”
It was previously reported that Moxley was “in favor” of the unification match taking place on Dynamite and “eventually CM Punk agreed to it.”
