Results of CM Punk vs Jon Moxley from the August 24th 2022 edition of AEW Dynamite

AEW world champion CM Punk faced interim world champion Jon Moxley in a unification match in the main event of AEW Dynamite on August 24th 2022. Moxley dominated right away and CM Punk started to fight back but then started selling his foot that was recently injured. Moxley targeted the foot and then won the match after hitting two death riders.

Officials checked on CM Punk after the match and helped him to the back. The announcers suggested that CM Punk came back from his injury too soon.
