What is currently planned for Steve Austin’s appearance at Wrestlemania 38
As previously noted, Steve Austin officially accepted Kevin Owens’ invitation to appear at WWE Wrestlemania 38.
WWE is hyping up the match as Austin’s first physical confrontation in 19 years even though Austin has hit people with the Stone Cold Stunner in numerous segments over the years. According to Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline.com, Austin has been “upping his cardio” and the current plan is to do a “fight scene” which will likely end with Owens getting hit with a Stunner.
Meltzer also noted the following…
“There was still talk about an angle leading to a match if Austin were to agree to it, but they felt they needed to announce Austin on the show this week.”
Austin’s confrontation with Owens is scheduled for Wrestlemania Saturday.
