What is being said about WWE’s plans for the 2022 Draft

While the WWE Draft typically takes place in October, it could end up happening sooner this year. Steve Carrier of RingsideNews.com noted the following regarding plans…

“We’ve asked around about plans for the next WWE Draft. We were told that, at this time, it is slated to go down in September. This means WWE has a few months to situation things and, hopefully, acclimate recent NXT call-ups before they shake things up.”

In a follow-up to Carrier’s report, Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline.com wrote that the Draft could happen as soon as August between Summerslam and Clash at the Castle…

“No date was finalized but the gut feeling was after Summerslam or in the lead up to the Cardiff show, but it’s definitely right now set for that time frame.”
