What is being said about the speculation surrounding a potential AJ Lee comeback in WWE

Ever since CM Punk made his return to WWE at Survivor Series 2023, there has been internet speculation surrounding his wife AJ Lee potentially making a comeback as well. AJ, a former women’s champion, has not wrestled in WWE since 2015.

Aaron Varble of SEScoops.com asked about the rumors…

“As much fun as an AJ Lee return might be, I am told that there is no talk in that direction. There have been no talks with or about AJ Lee. I was also told by a tenured source within the company that, ‘She’s very well liked, and respected. Just not a topic at the moment.'”

It was added that if AJ does come back to WWE, she would want “a memorable return rather than a one-time appearance.”
