What is being said about R-Truth potentially working for AEW or TNA Wrestling

This past weekend, R-Truth announced that he has been released from WWE. According to Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline.com, R-Truth is expected to be in high demand for public appearances such as autograph signings and independent wrestling shows.

Meltzer noted the following about R-Truth’s future in wrestling…

“I don’t know that AEW would or wouldn’t take him. Really it comes down to if Tony Khan wants a comedy character and they come to a price agreement. Those in TNA have already said that they want to make him an offer, and for that company, he’ll come in fairly hot. He may be able to get some Japanese independent work but that doesn’t pay well.”
