What is being said about CM Punk’s status for the 2025 Night of Champions PLE in Saudi Arabia

CM Punk has been publicly critical of The Miz in the past including when he wrote “go suck a blood money covered dick in Saudi Arabia you f*cking dork” on Twitter/X in early 2020. Punk would end up deleting his tweet.

Punk was among the WWE stars featured in a commercial for Night of Champions on June 28th 2025 in Saudi Arabia. However, an updated video showed Seth Rollins instead of Punk. Mike Johnson noted that while the card is always subject to change, he would “certainly believe” that Punk is going to be working the event.

In an Instagram video, Punk was asked if he hated Saudi Arabia. Punk replied with, “I’ve never been to Saudi, I don’t hate coming to Saudi.”
