What is being said about AEW’s interest in signing Nic Nemeth aka Dolph Ziggler

In September of 2023, multiple WWE superstars were released from the company following Endeavor’s acquisition including Nic Nemeth aka Dolph Ziggler. Both The Rock and John Cena publicly commented on Nemeth being released and praised his accomplishments.

In regards to Nemeth possibly going to AEW, WrestlePurists.com stated the following…

“According to sources in AEW, many within the company have been pushing for the signing of Nic Nemeth (fka Dolph Ziggler) and there have been multiple creative pitches made for him. One of the pitches included him being one of CJ Perry’s clients.”

WrestlePurists also noted that nothing has been signed yet as Nemeth’s non-complete clause is still in effect. The following names are set to become free agents around December 21st…
