According to PWInsider.com, WWE creative sources have noted that a John Cena vs. CM Punk match is currently not planned for MITB. However, a source also claimed that there is interest in doing the match “when the timing is right.”

Meanwhile, there is reportedly optimism within WWE about rapper Travis Scott’s availability for MITB. It’s being said that pitches were made for him to team with John Cena in a tag team match or a six-man tag. Scott has been training intermittently with Booker T in Texas to prepare for an eventual match.
