What happened during The Great Muta’s retirement tour match with Sting and Darby Allin

Keiji Muto wrestled his final match as “The Great Muta” persona during Sunday’s The Great Muta Final Bye-Bye event for Pro Wrestling NOAH. Muta, Sting, and Darby Allin defeated AKIRA, Hakushi, and Naomichi Marufuji in the main event.

For the finish, Muta misted Hakushi after he fell as he was doing a rope walk. Sting then hit the scorpion death drop, Allin came off the top rope with the coffin drop, and Muta scored the pin with a shining wizard.

After the match ended, Sting and Allin celebrated with Muta. After Sting and Allin left the ring, the announcer said Muta’s name one final time and pyro went off.

Muto will have his retirement match under his real name on February 21st against Tetsuya Naito.
