Vince McMahon was reportedly “extremely unhappy” with creative plans for the August 30th 2021 RAW

Three matches that were scheduled for the August 30th 2021 edition of WWE RAW did not take place as advertised – Bobby Lashley vs. Sheamus, John Morrison vs. The Miz, and Eva Marie vs. Doudrop.

Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com reports that Monday was described as one of the “longest” days for the WWE creative team in recent memory. Vince McMahon was said to be “extremely unhappy” with original plans for RAW and the script was “ripped up” several times. A source noted to Johnson that McMahon was “the loudest and angriest” they had ever seen him on the day of a show.

Johnson wrote the following regarding the mater…

“We are told that McMahon then began requesting new ideas, some of which we are told were good and others no so good, but rejected everything pitched to him before decreeing the new plans for last night’s episode.”

There was apparently no official direction or plan for the show until around 6:00 PM Eastern time.
