Viewership numbers are in for the 2021 Winter is Coming edition of AEW Dynamite

The December 15th 2021 edition of AEW Dynamite, which was the Winter is Coming special, drew 948,000 viewers with a 0.31 rating in the 18-49 demo. Dynamite finished 5th on cable for the day. Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics.com noted the following…

“That’s down 7% in P18-49 from last week and up 9% in total viewership.

Viewership in the 18 to 49 demo was the lowest for Dynamite since May 19.

Median age was 53, the first time it’s been older than 50 since May.”

As far as quarter hours went, Adam Page vs. Bryan Danielson opened with 947,000 (401,000 18-49) viewers. The end of the match during the 5th quarter drew 1.035 million (418,000 18-49) viewers. Following the Page/Danielson match, the 6th quarter fell to 855,000 (348,000 18-49) viewers. The final quarter went back up to 936,000 (420,000 18-49) viewers for MJF vs. Dante Martin.

The December 8th 2021 edition of AEW Dynamite drew 872,000 viewers with a 0.33 rating in the 18-49 demo.

Last year’s Winter is Coming, which had competition from WWE NXT, drew 913,000 viewers with a 0.42 rating in the 18-49 demo.
