Video: WWE begins teasing the NXT debut of a former AEW wrestler

Following his departure from AEW, Brian Pillman Jr. was spotted working out at the WWE Performance Center in July and it was reported that he was going to be part of the NXT brand.

The first tease of Pillman Jr. debuting on WWE television occurred during the September 26th 2023 edition of NXT. In a vignette, an unidentified man was watching television clips of the Cincinnati Bengals training camp and WCW Saturday Night. His father, Brian Pillman, briefly played for the team and wrestled in WCW for several years before joining WWE in 1996.
