Video: What happened with John Cena and Drew McIntyre after Smackdown ended
After the September 10th 2021 edition of WWE Smackdown went off the air, two dark matches took place for the fans at Madison Square Garden in New York City.
The first match was Drew McIntyre vs. Happy Corbin. Corbin was attacked by the “Demon” Finn Balor before the match. McIntyre won the match and took out Corbin with a steel chair.
In the second match, John Cena teamed up the the Mysterios against the Bloodline. Cena scored the pinfall over Jey with an Attitude Adjustment.
There was a third dark match that took place prior to Smackdown which saw RAW women’s Champion Charlotte Flair defeat Rhea Ripley.
