Video of fan throwing a bottle at John Cena during WWE Smackdown goes viral
As seen during the May 10th 2025 edition of WWE SmackDown, John Cena cut a promo to hype up his upcoming match against Randy Orton at the Backlash PLE. At one point, a fan threw a bottle into the ring towards Cena. Cena momentarily had his ring introduction stopped so he could acknowledge the bottle.

A video showing an alternate angle of the bottle being thrown went viral on multiple social media outlets including TikTok and Twitter/X. In the clip, the fan is shown being escorted away by security as Cena continued with his segment.
