Video: New TBS Champion crowned at the 2023 AEW Double or Nothing PPV
As seen during the 2023 AEW Double or Nothing PPV, Jade Cargill successfully defended the TBS title against Taya Valkyrie. After the match, Smart Mark Sterling said Jade would defend the title against anybody at anytime. This led to Kris Statlander making her surprise return from injury to accept the challenge.
Jade missed a pump kick and Kris built up momentum. Statlander avoided Jaded and then scored the pinfall victory with a piledriver to win the TBS title.
