Video: Brock Lesnar appears on WWE Smackdown despite reports of him walking out

As previously noted, Brock Lesnar reportedly left the building prior to the July 22nd edition of Smackdown once news broke that Vince McMahon was retiring from WWE.

Shortly after the Smackdown broadcast started, Twitter account @WrestleVotes wrote that WWE was “working on getting Brock back to the building to talk this out. We’ll see.” As it turns out, Lesnar did end up making an appearance at the very end of the show. Lesnar took down Theory with a F5 and then hit Theory with the Money in the Bank briefcase.

Bryan Alvarez of F4WOnline.com confirmed that WWE had talked Lesnar into coming back to the arena. In regards to a claim that wrestling websites were worked, Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful.com wrote the following…

“Or it actually happened, they rewrote the entire script without Brock in it, it got fixed and they easily added him to the end of the show.”
