Velveteen Dream announced and then pulled from upcoming wrestling event
On Wednesday, it was announced that former WWE star Velveteen Dream (Patrick Clark) would be appearing at SWF’s Home Sweet Home event on September 11th 2021. The promotion received negative feedback due to the sexual misconduct allegations made against Dream in 2020.
Less than two hours later, promoter Rob Fury issued a statement that said Dream would not be part of the event…
“Tonight we announced Velveteen Dream would be appearing at our Home Sweet Home event. I believe any man can be slandered and have been through other situations in my life unrelated but untrue. After careful consideration, Dream has been removed.”
