Update on when Ilja Dragunov will return to WWE television from injury
In September of 2024, it was announced that Ilja Dragunov would be out for six to nine months due to a suspected ACL tear injury. It was reported that Dragunov had been targeting a return to the RAW roster for September of 2025.
According to Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline.com, Ilja Dragunov is cleared to return but WWE is “waiting for the right time” to bring him back to television. Cory Hays of Bodyslam.net also noted the following on August 10th in regards to Dragunov’s return…
“The time draws near. How soon? We’ll see. Not expecting it in the next few weeks. His name was brought up this week. So we’ll see.”
