Update on the condition of Steven Borden following his injury at AEW All Out 2026
As seen during the 2026 AEW All Out PPV event, Steven Borden suffered an injury following a mid-air collision with Kevin Knight, resulting in the match being stopped.
While speaking on his podcast, AEW announcer Tony Schiavone provided an update on Borden’s condition…
“I talked to Steven just yesterday on the phone, and he was fine. He had no headaches. He had no dizziness.
As far as a diagnosis is concerned, that has to come from our doctor because I’m not qualified to make that determination. But I can tell you that, by talking to him, he said, ‘I’m fine.’
He did tell me that, of all the years he played football for the University of Kentucky, he never had a concussion. He never experienced anything like that.
And he was more upset because he thought that he had ruined the pay-per-view by what happened. And I said, ‘No, you didn’t.’ I said, ‘Because we announced it, and then we announced it again to the crowd. So everybody was very happy that you were okay, and that really lifted everybody’s spirits.’
So how long he’s going to be out, I don’t know. I’m sure they have to check on him before he can get back in there.”
