Update on Sammy Guevara’s status with AEW after suffering a concussion at WrestleDream

It was previously reported that AEW star Sammy Guevara suffered a concussion at the 2023 WrestleDream PPV event.

In an update on Guevara’s status with AEW, he is reportedly cleared to wrestle again. Guevara and Tay Melo welcomed the birth of their baby girl on November 28th and Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline.com noted the following…

“I don’t know when he was cleared exactly but it was over a week ago. At that point when she was about to give birth, there was no reason to come back until after she gave birth but yeah, he’s cleared.”

There is no word yet regarding when Guevara’s return date will be. Guevara was aligned with The Don Callis Family before he got injured.
