Update on Roman Reigns reportedly being injured at the 2023 WWE Summerslam PLE

As previously noted, Roman Reigns was reportedly hurt during his match against Jey Uso at the 2023 WWE Summerslam PLE. According to Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline.com, it’s believed that Reigns suffered either a hip or back injury from Jey’s tope about five minutes in.

Fightful Select noted that there are not plans for Reigns to miss his internally scheduled appearances but that could always change. Fightful added that “there were those who would likely be in the know in a creative capacity for Smackdown who hadn’t even heard about the injury until word emerged Tuesday.”
