Update on Mr. Iguana potentially making WWE television appearances following Worlds Collide

AAA star Mr. Iguana has been receiving positive feedback from WWE fans since his match at the 2025 Worlds Collide PLE. It was reported that WWE has already been talking about how to merchandise him.

In an update on Mr. Iguna’s status, Fightful Select is reporting that he and WWE are “finalizing” a deal for him to make future appearances. Fightful noted the following about Iguana’s claim that he will be heading straight to the WWE main roster…

“There was some confusion as to Iguana’s immediate status as he did an interview claiming he was going to the main roster. The interview was later edited and there were claims he didn’t say it, but he did. 
We’ve not heard anything on whether or not he had heat in the company for the comments.”

In the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline.com addressed the interview comments by stating that Iguana “got heat for that immediately.”
