Update on Matt Cardona and Chelsea Green amidst rumors of them returning to WWE

It was previously reported that Matt Cardona and Chelsea Green could return to WWE together in similar fashion to Mike and Maria Kanellis in 2017. In an update, Dave Meltzer noted the following in regards to one way that WWE could utilize Cardona and Green…

“There are talks with E! about a new reality show. They are looking for legitimate wrestling couples. So some upcoming signings could relate to that if the project is finalized. The Matt Cardona name was mentioned as possible if the deal goes through since Chelsea Green is in.”

Cardona addressed the report via Twitter…

“What should we call this show? I know… Z! True Long Island Story! Nah…that’ll never get over. 😉”
