Update on Liv Morgan’s status after suffering an injury on WWE Smackdown

As previously noted, Michael Cole announced during the May 19th 2023 edition of WWE Smackdown that Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez have relinquished the WWE women’s tag team titles due to Liv being injured.

In regards to Liv’s injury, Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com noted that it’s related to her shoulder and possibly a rotator cuff tear but there hasn’t been an exact confirmation on the nature of the injury. Johnson added that regardless of what the injury is, the belief is that Liv is “not expected back anytime soon.”

Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline.com speculated that Liv could go in a separate creative direction from Raquel Rodriguez when she returns…
