Update on Kevin Owens following reports of him dealing with a legitimate injury

As previously noted, an injury angle with Kevin Owens took place during the July 24th 2023 edition of WWE RAW.

According to Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline.com, Owens had been working “for some time with a fractured rib” and the attack by Judgment Day was designed to give him time off to heal. At this time, it’s unknown how the tag team title situation with Sami Zayn will be addressed although Owens is “not supposed to be out for a lengthy period.” Meltzer confirmed that the tag team titles will not be defended at the 2023 WWE Summerslam PLE.
