Update on Alexa Bliss’ status with WWE following the 2021 Extreme Rules PPV

As seen at the 2021 WWE Extreme Rules PPV, Alexa Bliss lost to Charlotte Flair in a RAW women’s title match and Charlotte destroyed Alexa’s doll Lilly afterwards.

According to Raj Giri of WrestlingInc.com, Alexa will reportedly be taking some time off from WWE television soon. Giri noted the following…

“It is not known how long Bliss will be off of television, but I was told it would be ‘a few months.'”

In a post-match, Charlotte said that ripping apart Lilly was a “wakeup call” to remind Alexa that she’s “still a champion at heart.” Fans have been speculating about the angle at Extreme Rules being a designed to revert the “Playhouse” Alexa character back to her old self.
