Triple H reportedly wants a smaller card for Wrestlemania 39 compared to recent years

For WWE Wrestlemania 38 in 2022, a total of 16 matches took place over the course of two nights. In previous years, WWE made an effort to get as much people on the card as possible.

According to a report on WrestlingNews.co, Triple H “wants a small card this year” for Wrestlemania 39 and there is no battle royal planned for the time being. The site also noted the following…

“There’s also some unhappiness about some of the slots on the show being used by legends and celebrities. Obviously, things could change but those we spoke to were not happy about not being involved in the company’s biggest show of the year in Los Angeles.”

At this time, only three matches have officially been announced but several more are expected to be added to the card. Here is the updated projected card of 12 matches…
