TNA Wrestling issues statement on the death of country music star Toby Keith
It was reported this week that country music star Toby Keith passed away at the age of 62 following a battle with stomach cancer. Keith had a connection to wrestling as he appeared at the very first NWA: TNA PPV event in 2002 and got physical with Jeff Jarrett. Keith was also a WWE RAW guest host in 2010.
TNA Wrestling issued a statement…
“We are deeply saddened to learn of the passing of country music legend Toby Keith – who appeared on the very first TNA event. We offer our condolences to his friends and family.”
