TNA Wrestling confirms the addition of a new championship during Slammiversary pre-show
TNA Hall of Famer Traci Brooks appeared on the 2026 Slammiversary pre-show at Agganis Arena in Boston to unveil a new championship for the Knockouts division.
Brooks announced that a 16-woman tournament will begin on this Thursday’s episode of TNA Impact, with the winner becoming the inaugural TNA Knockouts Television Champion.
“Starting this Thursday night, there will be a 16-woman tournament beginning. And at the end of that tournament, we will crown the first-ever TNA Knockout Television Champion.”
She also revealed that the title will be defended exclusively on Impact Wrestling.
“This championship will be defended exclusively on Impact television. And to my Knockouts, this is an opportunity once again to prove why you are the greatest women’s division in professional wrestling. Ladies, let’s make history.”
