The Elite not appearing in Chicago for AEW Dynamite on June 21st 2023?

Memebers of The Elite did not appear on the debut episode of AEW Collision and Fightful Select noted the following about the June 21st 2023 edition of Dynamite…

“We’ve heard they might not be in Chicago at all, and that includes for this week’s AEW Dynamite at Wintrust Arena. We’re told that there were pre-tapes done to progress some of their angles, but that there’s a good chance they’re not in the arena.”

Fightful added that Punk could end up showing up at the event on Wednesday even though it hasn’t officially been announced. It was said that those close to Punk have claimed he was planned for the show.

As of Sunday night, Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks were still being advertised for Dynamite on wintrustarena.com. During the November 23rd 2022 edition of AEW Dynamite in Chicago, The Elite had a match against the trios champions Death Triangle. There were “CM Punk” and “F*ck The Elite” chants and The Elite milked the reactions.

5,937 tickets have been distributed for Wednesday’s Dynamite.
