The apparent meaning behind Excalibur’s “fix your hearts or die” line from AEW Dynamite
The June 3rd 2026 edition of AEW Dynamite concluded with announcer Excalibur giving the following sign-off: “FIX YOUR HEARTS OR DIE! THIS IS ALL ELITE WRESTLING!”
The line was seemingly a reference to a quote from Twin Peaks: The Return. In the television series, a character played by David Lynch used the phrase while defending a transgender colleague, and it has since become associated with messages of empathy, acceptance, and LGBTQ inclusion.
On June 1st, the official AEW account wrote via Twitter/X, “AEW is proud to celebrate #PrideMonth this month, and every month!”
