The 2020 WWE Money in the Bank ladder match allegedly came close to being shut down

The 2020 men’s and women’s WWE Money in the Bank ladder matches were filmed at WWE headquarters in Stamford, CT as a single cinematic experience due to Covid-19. During a virtual signing hosted by East Coast Autograph Auctions, Nia Jax commented on the situation…

“That was a fun one, the theatrical Money in the Bank that we had. That was so much fun, where we almost got shut down by the Governor of Connecticut. They were knocking at the door, the police were knocking at the door, and somehow, we were able to still shoot it, and get it done!” (quote courtesy of PostWrestling.com)
