Speculation about AEW potentially using former WWE star for 2023 All In event at Wembley Stadium

In the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline.com noted the following about former WWE star Davey Boy Smith Jr. potentially being used at the 2023 All In event…

“There’s been a lot of speculation regarding Davey Boy Smith Jr. and the Wembley Stadium show just for an appearance stemming back to the most famous match ever held in the stadium with his father [The British Bulldog] beating his uncle, Bret Hart, for the IC title. As of this moment, he hasn’t been talked to about it. It’s basically if AEW thinks it’s something they want on the show.”

At this time, AEW has around 66,500 tickets sold for All In with an $8.35 million gate. All In is now the largest paid attendance for a wrestling event since Wrestlemania 32 in 2016. AEW still hasn’t announce any matches for the event.
