Slim Jim resumes relationship with WWE following the resignation of Vince McMahon
On Friday, Slim Jim paused its relationship with WWE due to the Vince McMahon sex trafficking lawsuit. In a statement, a Slim Jim representative wrote that “we will continue to monitor the situation and base our future engagements on our values and what’s best for our brand.”
Just hours after Slim Jim’s statement was issued, Vince McMahon announced that he was resigning from TKO. On Saturday morning, Twitter account @WrestleVotes noted the following…
“After yesterday’s chaotic day, and the events that transpired, I am told Slim Jim is BACK as a main sponsor for tonight’s Royal Rumble PLE along with future WWE events.”

Slim Jim later wrote in a statement that “after the departure of Vince McMahon, and discussions with WWE TKO senior leadership, Slim Jim has decided to re-enter the Royal Rumble.”
Via Twitter/X, Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline.com explained how the Slim Jim situation needed to be handled right away…
“Vince really isn’t coming back this time. He doesn’t have the voting power. That lawsuit made it impossible. Sponsor pullouts can be a domino and they needed to stop the dominos from falling immediately.”
