Shotzi’s WWE contract is reportedly not being renewed

On Friday, it was announced that multiple wrestlers were parting ways with WWE including Braun Strowman and Shayna Baszler.

Fans noticed on Saturday that Shotzi’s WWE.com profile was moved to the alumni section which fueled speculation about her status with the company. Earlier this week, Shotzi published a video with the caption, “Whatever happens next I’m ready for it. Stay ballsy my friends. 💚”

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful.com noted the following about the situation…

“WWE informed Shotzi that her contract was not being renewed, @FightfulSelect has confirmed. We’re told this was an expected move from her, and she prepared with the promo we saw this week. WWE sources claimed at the time no move was official, but it since has been made. When I asked about the promo, we were told ‘she’s not a part of releases.’ I guess that’s technically true.”
