Shawn Michaels says Oba Femi “never once complained about anything” in WWE NXT
While speaking to Variety.com, Shawn Michaels commented on his work with Oba Femi in the WWE NXT brand…
“There’s Oba, who I think was incredibly well-rounded. He’s the one guy who will say he never once complained about anything—never asked about money, dates, where he was going, or what he was doing.
It’s funny—I saw an interview of his the other day, and I guess he got frustrated at times because there were moments when he had finishes or sequences he wanted to do, and I would change them all the time. Of course, at the time, in my mind I’m thinking, ‘You’ve been doing this for two years—you don’t have any idea where we’re going.’
And to his credit, he recognized all of that. That’s one of the things he said in the interview—that Shawn knows where we’re going, what we’re doing, and how it’s all going to play out. But it still frustrated him a little bit at the time.
The point is, though, he never once showed that kind of frustration. He’s just been—I’ll say it—a consummate professional.”
